Lou is napping and we are almost ready to head to the hospital. Here is what we're taking in addition to our nervous bellies:
1) two favorite blankies
2) one favorite teddy bear
3) one real simple magazine
4) two new yorkers
5) one national geographic
6) one grandma with Opinions
7) two appetites for hospital cafeteria tapioco pudding
8) no cigarettes--oh, settle down. I'm not considering smoking again. It's been over three years. I am just very aware that I don't smoke on days like this.
Send us positive vibes. Remember this is MINOR surgery. She is having a skin cyst removed from her neck. I may or may not be spending the night. We will find out when they get in there and see which type of cyst it is--mind you, we already know it's not the scary kind. Sonny will not be spending the night regardless. They only allow one parent. "They" can bite me.
