Ugh. I'm exhausted and should be in bed, but I just can't seem to pull myself away from the computer. Not that I have a lot to say.

What's new....I did finish my Super-8 film entry, but I'm having a really hard time figuring out what type of music to use since you don't get to see the film before the actual festival. Sure, i filmed it, but I don't really know how it will look. Is it a comedy or a reflective piece? I can't be sure. I'm thinking Fat Boy Slim.

In other news, I'm a sneaky bastard. Perhaps, I could be some sort of quick change artist. At the grocery store the other night the clerk asked me if he'd given me the twenty he owed me from an ATM cash back and I quickly said no only to find two crisp 20s in my purse later. Doh. If he hadn't got us so sidetracked with his eloquent "new swiper" story and I wasn't already a bit scattered, this would not have happened. To add to the guilt, I have on TWO OCCASIONS left that store with a 12-pack of diet coke on the lower rack of my cart only to find out upon receipt inspection that I did not pay for them. Baby Lou was with me both times and both times, when I suspected they might not have charged me, I just didn't have the energy to go all the way back in and offer to give them more of my money. So, I'm hoping I can still consider myself an ethical person. I keep thinking of Lincoln. Didn't he walk a couple miles to return a penny? A penny was probably some serious change back then, though. I would walk a mile to return a twenty to an actual person...especially if the weather was nice. I'm still ethical, I think.

Baby Lou is still calling me "Dada." The other day I had a long talk with her where I said, "I'm Mama. Where's Mama? Here I am. I'm Mama." She smiled at me for a couple seconds and then she said "Dada!!" That girl is playing me for a sucker.
